I cut the bit about Batman off abrutly. There appears to ba about 10 years of Batman which I have missed out on. So much has happened. Batgirls and Robins have died, Batman is no Bruce Wayne but then he is. Some serious reading have to be done ‘ere to retify this situation.

This week:
Got a present of the new mac mini, you know intel core chip, remote control front row, comic life free, the world of boot camp and universal binaries. I returned it. All I would have done is just transformed it into a £600 dvd player but it would have been a nice dvd player. Instead I got a lovely Lumix LZ5, great zoom, 6 mega pixal and stuff. I guess I’ll play more with Aperture now, especially since it has gone 1.1.
Music wise, just absorbing myself with Unrest and Tilly and the Wall, nothing else. Oh went to Giselle in the ROH. Fantastic stuff. I love the ballet. This was the first time I was anywhere never the front in the stall seats, right above the french horns. Taking into account that the view was highly restricted, about 60% was viewable, you got to see the acting, the foot work and basically the sweat on the dancers faces.
Films : Got to see ‘Derailed’ the other day, not that bad but we are not that clarely taken by Clive Owens acting, and Vincent Cassel was wasted in his role, is he still up for the Joker in the next Batman?

Been trying to sort out the new just-the-thing website. andrew did most of the back-end stuff and i just dealt with the styling and porting it from host-to-host. It looks good, but it’ll be tested for a few weeks before going live.
Music wise, i have picked up a stack of old a house records on ebay. Since I sold my stereo, really cheaply on ebay. I have now set the turntable up to play via my powermac using the imac, it sounds quite good but the turntable needs earthing.
Saw the evens last friday. Great to see Ian Mackaye live, he is so into it all. A cracking good show.
Book wise still plowing through ‘moon dust’.
